Soccer!

Chloe: I have found my calling.  I tried to explain to Mommy that I already know how to play soccer and that I understand about dribbling with my feet, never using my hands, working as a team, stopping the ball with my feet, and kicking the ball for a goal.  I told her, but she didn't believe me.

Then on Saturday after class, she turned to Daddy and said, "Remember how Chloe said she knows how to play soccer already and we were like 'sure you do?'  Turns out she may know how to play soccer."

Yup.  Bring it.

Not a Baby

Kyra: I'm not a baby.  And if you want proof, I just started today full-time in the 1-year old room.  No babies in that room!  Holla.

Not the Beach

Amber: Mommy promised us we could go to the beach, but then she said we couldn't.  To be fair, it was windy and spitting rain and generally unpleasant.  But although she and Aunt Diane took us to the Cape May Zoo, I think you will all agree with Chloe and I that she owes us.

Chloe: Yup.  If she's really in charge of everything as she says, she should be able to control the weather.

Amber: True dat.

Spring Show

Amber: We had so much fun at the spring show!  Our classes all sang individually and then we had a huge group together to sing songs from Frozen.  I love to sing!

Chloe: Me, too!  We practiced and practiced and practiced and it really paid off.

Amber: Daddy said we can take a break from singing "Let it Go" if we want to... but why would we want to do that?

Chloe: No idea!  He's crazy.

Pomp and Circumstance

Chloe: Last Friday, I finally graduated... from Pre-K!  I'm so excited to be moving up in the world and heading out with the big kids.  I had a great time celebrating with all my friends and I was very touched to be named "Most Caring" of the graduating class.  Onward!

Happy Father's Day!

Chloe: Here's Daddy with his girls, all ready to have a yummy Father's Day dinner!

Amber: We had a great time, spending the day with Grams and Grampa, having a cook out, playing in the pool, running around outside.

Kyra: Yup!  It was great!  Happy Father's Day to everyone!

Chloe: We're thinking of Daddy, of course, but also Grampa, Pop-Pop, Pop-Pop Thompson, Uncle John, Uncle Fuzz, all the dads, granddads, godfathers.

The KiKi JoJo

Kyra: I am totally against the idea of sitting still to have my picture taken.  I want to grab Mommy's camera and take all the pictures!  I also want her phone.  Now.
