Spring Show

 

Amber: We had so much fun at the spring show!  Our classes all sang individually and then we had a huge group together to sing songs from Frozen.  I love to sing!

 

Chloe: Me, too!  We practiced and practiced and practiced and it really paid off.

 

Amber: Daddy said we can take a break from singing "Let it Go" if we want to... but why would we want to do that?

 

Chloe: No idea!  He's crazy.

 

Finally, Easter Morning

 

Easter Bunny: I'm finally getting around to posting the pictures from Easter morning... Each child was treated to some yummy things to eat, a special toy, and a matching bathing suit - something their mother would have to have bought anyway...  :-)

 

Amber: Yay!  The Easter Bunny must have seen our Halloween picture and realized how much I love Tinkerbell!  I have been sleeping with her every night and can't wait to wear my new bathing suit at the pool!

 

Chloe: Elsa!  At long last!  I can't believe the Easter Bunny was able to find an Elsa doll, even though Mommy couldn't find one anywhere!

 

Chloe: We were so excited that we just had to model our new suits... and when Kyra finally got up, she was excited to see her take, too:

 

Kyra: I have no idea what this is all about, but I love this fish!  Happy Easter!

Spring!

 

Kyra: It's finally spring time!  I'm so happy that my ability to walk around and be big has coincided with some warmer weather.  They finally let me out of the stroller at Smith Playground last weekend and we had a blast!  Mommy and Aunt Rachel took us to brunch and then we spent a nice, relaxing afternoon in the Smith playhouse and park before heading off for some ice cream.  Here are some of my favorite photos from the day!

The Spring Show

 Chloe: So, last week was the spring show at school and neither of us apparently felt like singing.

Amber: I found the whole thing pedantic.

 Chloe: Well, I am a little disappointed in myself.  I was all ready, knew the song, knew the moves... and then I froze when I saw all those people.

Amber: Well, the whole thing makes no sense.  They tell our mother to come to the show and then there she is, but they expect me to not want to sit with her?  What was she doing there then?

Chloe: She was there to hear us sing.

Amber: She was probably disappointed then, that she just got pictures of us standing still.  I mean, we could have done that at home and she could have been on time to work.

Chloe: She's never on time to work.

Amber: You know what I mean.

 Chloe: Yeah.  The snacks were good, though.

Amber: Definitely the best part.

Garden Girls

Amber: What are you doing over there?

Chloe: I'm gardening.

Amber: Do you know how to garden?

Chloe: Uh, YEAH. I'm holding a shovel, aren't I?

Amber: Yeah, well, sometimes you hold the TV remote, but you've never successfully found Dora on your own.

Chloe: Whatever. Mommy told me just what to do. I'm digging a hole, we'll plant these tulips. What could be easier?

Amber: I hope Mommy doesn't kill these flowers.

Chloe: I know. It's kind of amazing that the state has never come to look in on us, don't you think?

Amber: I think that every day.
